Sure why not. I mean I am sure that I will cause some major crimes against the English language since I am too lazy to type carefully but what the heck. It might be fun

Re: Speaking of NaNoWriMo...
I have honestly thought about it! But I'm working on a screenplay and since it's a feature (meaning around 120 pages when complete and will have a buttload of editing done before it's done) I really don't wanna stray and do anything different until it's done...
It IS possible I finish a couple drafts before November, considering I've been writing since Friday and I'm already 14 pages in... if I do, maybe I'll write a story to be intended as a sequel to what I am working on, since I have it semi-plotted out...

Possibly, but I'm not entirely sure what it is.
Can someone tell me what it is exactly?

Basically you have the whole month of November (30 days) to write one novel... The goal is 50,000 words... Doesn't have to be edited, doesn't have to be good, all they care about is the word count...
Re: Speaking of NaNoWriMo...
Pretty much what Melissa said.
The real goal behind NaNoWriMo from my understanding, is to get writers to turn off their inner critic. To get the story down and worry about editing and revising later when the story is finished. Its also to help lazy writers(such as myself) to get into the habbit of writing every day and such.
Its also just a but load of fun knowing that as you are writing thousands of others are struggling along with you as the days of November increasingly dwindle.
They also have a great forum where you can talk about your story. They have different sections for each genre. Fantasy, Chic Lit, Science Fiction, Horror, Mystery, Romance, Erotica, Literary, Comedy, Main Stream and a few others. Then there is the Life During Nano section. That contains the awesome section called 'NaNoWriMo Ate My Soul' a place for distressed NaNoers can sort of rant about their problems.
Its a really helpful forum full of all sorts of information. Also has other places to just talk to other people.

Re: Speaking of NaNoWriMo...
Did you even read my post? I clearly pointed out the goal of NaNoWriMo.
But whether or not something reads it is entirely up to you.

Sorry. I guess I was still typing when you posted that.

I've started mine this morning. 10,000 words in. My mind wouldn't shut off with this idea last night.
