This is the place to talk religion. Whether you are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or a Priest of Ulthien, this is the place to talk about it.

Rules.

1) Be respectful of all Religions.
2) Be Polite and Civil
3) Respect all belief systems. Whether they are Athiest, Agnostic, or Bible Thumper.
4) Uh... yeah. I don't have a rule 4.
5) This is a place OPEN to ALL discussion as long as it is kept civil. If you want a private conversation, take it to Private Messages.

CLARIFICATION: If the topic of Fred Phelps and his group of inbred noobs comes up. Feel free to bash them along with any other group that preaches hate and violence and any other group that disgraces its religion.

Though as far as Scientology goes... I don't care. In fact I am/was a huge supporter of Anonymous when it comes to this. But if for some reason they track us down and I get some official from Co$ I am going to be like removing all topics that don't support it.

Last thing I need is Xenu getting angry at me again. How was I supposed to know he wanted the last slice of pizza? >.<

Well you can discuss it and disagree and say why they are wrong.

Discussing =/= Bashing. Hmm maybe I should put that on the rules.

If you want to discuss the flaws in any religion's practices and you want to discuss them and such that is perfectly fine.

However outright 'Bashing' them will not be tolerated. Unless its some group like Westboro Baptist Church or some Jim Jones cult(wait... was his name Jim Jones?)

But discussing them and such is fine. Just try and be... uh civil about it.

So basically you can "bash" a particular religion as long as everyone agrees with you and no one is defending the other side?

No you won't have to. Because that's not how moderating is done. When someone breaks the rules they get an official warning by a moderator. Their post can be edited if they do things like post harmful links or outright pornography(unless it's specifically pointed out that this link is containing adult material. Usually done by post NSFW before the link). They don't get their posts deleted suddenly as if this is the Soviet Union. You should seriously visit some normal forums to learn how moderating is done

Oh and in case you don't know a moderators job is also to follow the rules. So when you have moderator related issue with a user you adress them through the private messaging system. You don't derail the thread by posting off topic material which is basically spam




However to thoroughly avoid further conflict or war as dawnie described it I suggest we make a moderating thread. Where each user can dispute the decisions made by a moderator and make their case
