Your favorite religion

I thought we can start this forum on a more peaceful and share our favorite religions. Currently my favorites are the Zen Buddhism/ Shinto combination however I have a special place in my heart for the Norse Gods. And not just because the lovely Jaimie Alexander is playing one .

So what are your favorites?

I would have to agree with you on that! Buddhism in general is such a cool yet sane religion!

I find Hinduism facinating. So much, in fact, that I want to be a missionary in India. But that would require learning to speak Hindi... Eh, we'll see how this goes.

Not really. English is one of the official languages in India so your set. And indeed Hinduism is quite fascinating. It's not really my thing but I have a lot of respect for the massive amount of effort they put into it. And the practically unchanged oral transference of the texts borders on a true miracle. It's fascinating to see just what humans can achieve when they put their minds to it

I'm a fan of Buddhist teachings, but I'm rather attracted to some forms of Pagan religion. Not the witchcraft/magic stuff, but more the relationship with the earth etc. I'm also into Native American religious teachings.

I don't really know much about any of those religions. Please enlighten me

My favorite religions would be Catholicism because I'm Italian, it's a reqirement. I have rosary beads hanging in my car and a crucifix over my bedroom door, and I'm an atheist, that's how much of an attachment I have to it.

My other favorite would be the reconstructed european pagan traditions into Wicca and the like. I have a pentacle in my car too, and a triple moon mirror mosaic hanging over my bed.
