Disney's So Weird Empty Disney's So Weird

So, I've been spending a lot of time rewatching/thinking about this show! Has anyone here seen it?

It ran from 99-01, basically followed the life of Fi Phillips as she toured the country with her rock star mom, encountering paranormal stuff along the way. Seasons one and two were a lot darker than your average Disney show, but the tone became lighter in S3, when Cara DeLizia (Fi) left and Alexz Johnson came in as Annie.

I remember back when I originally watched it, I hated Annie, just because she wasn't Fi and Fi was who I aspired to be. (What? I was young!) But now, I watch S3 and love Annie just about as much as I do Fi. The stories from S3 aren't as good as the first two, but still fun!

It really is an awesome show, and it's all on youtube, too! Vids from the first season aren't particularly good quality, but since it's a 90's show, and Disney has yet to release the show on DVD (For who knows why...), quality isn't really something one can complain about. XD

Yeah I remember this show. I remember one episode that really freaked me out. A couple years ago I started looking into the series and started watching them but I didn't get to far.

What I do know is that So Weird was definitely supposed to have an even darker storyline down the road. Overall it was pretty dark for a Disney show.

I also thought the theme song was really cool. Still enjoy it even now. Smile

Oh, I know what you mean! I remember when the show originally aired, when I was 9-11, I used to stay up really late just so I can watch it and it really didn't scare me that much back then. I was able to watch any episode and sleep like a baby afterwards. There's a couple episodes that if I watch it now, I am literally too afraid to get out of bed and open my door to go to the restroom. I can't believe it didn't effect me more as a kid, maybe it was because I was much more into the paranormal then than now... I mean I'm into it now but back then, it was an obsession. XD

Yeah! I love the theme song! Actually, all the songs in the show are really good! There's not one song on the soundtrack that I don't enjoy!

Yes you should actually.

Actually I might rewatch it. So many good memories... which most of them I can't actually remember.
