Have Dreams Will Travel

The part where I started to really tear up was when its revealed that Ben made it to the majors and seeing Cassie up in the stands. How Ben sorta describes what happened after and how his life turned out. Seeing them on the couch, her editing childrens novels and him writing as their children play together was also really great. It was just so beautiful. It was also terribly heart breaking when they were walking on the beach and he tells us Cassie died and the foot prints were washed away. It was just so beautiful.

I loved the part where he burns down the Theater. I was like 'what on earth could he be burning? and when it reveals the theater and him saying sometimes you just gotta do what feels right. I just found this wickedly amusing. Then trying to destroy the boat. Very amusing. But I loved how his parents reconnected like that with Ben and Cassie watching from afar. Brilliant.

When Cassie was on that ledge, inches from falling, my heart broke. I begged for her to step down, to not fall. I was so relieved when they showed her in the hospital, but then my heart broke again.

Oh I almost forgot! The first place they stayed with that man and wife and when the man tells Ben he doesn't know when or if he will ever be back. It was really sad watching that man explain why and Ben asking if he thought he was a good guy when he was his age. Also that wedding was fun and awkward and when that Man tells him he can kiss his bride, I just loved the expression on his face and that kiss on the cheek was just cute. It wasn't until just now did I realize something. Was it Ben and Cassie's relationship that made that Man decide to go away and try and seek redemption for himself(it was never exactly explained why he left... but I think that it was seeing these two kids together that gave him sort of an epiphany. If you look closer when he talks to his wife she seems upset and angry. At first I thought maybe she was kicking him out... but now I don't know.)

Then there were her dreams. I knew right away that she caused the accident. I didn't know why, but I knew. When I did learn though I was angry and upset. It wasn't until I read a comment about that scene did her comment earlier in the movie about her mother doing nothing, did I understand what she meant. I wanted to leap into the movie and beat the dude senseless.

There were all sorts of amazing moments and I don't think there was a single one that wasn't great.

When they fought it was sad and when they showed them holding hands and walking together being happy, my heart soared.

It was very fun to see the beginning of their journey. The dynamic between the two was great. . To me it seemed like Ben definitely had a huge crush on her from the start but I think that Cassie was really guarded at the beginning and kept her distance.

The marriage scene was really fun and I like the old man. He seem really messed up. I thought myself that he had some mental problems maybe and that's why his wife was leaving him but he really did seem like a really good guy

The road trip was quite fun as well. From the police station where Cassie was hilarious to the bus where it was very fun to see Ben going all jealous. I also found it very fun the stories they made up about themselves in the car. It was good to see them just be children

When they finally got to their destination I was really glad that the uncle and aunt were more like background characters. It kept the focus on the two main characters which was very good.

Cassie breakdown was really brutal. I knew from the beginning that it was coming since she took the death of her parents way too calm and logically but still it was really hard to see how bad it was. I was really on edge and was actually worried that we might not get a happy ending. Something which I am usually not worried about with american movies but this movie kept delivering me surprises and I was already traumatised by this other movie of Anna Sophia Robb(Cassie) Bridge to Terabithia. So I was on the edge of my seat getting ready for everything. So it was really awesome to see Ben going back for his wife. The conversation with the driver was really cool and when reunion with her was heartbreaking and really illuminating. I lvoed the fact that they gave us hints about this from the beginning and that this was the final piece of the puzzle

The finale was really well done. It gave me a mix of happiness,sadness and pretty much everything. Really perfect

Wow I really went on and on didn't I? But I haven't been so impressed by a movie not just the plot but the actors as well since I saw Let The Right One In
