Call me a nerd, but I am SUPER excited! The first 3 books came out when I was 12, so I guess you could say I've grown up with the series. And I will be seated among all the 12 year olds in the theater when the last two movies come out!

I have read the books but I have never watch more then 15 minutes of any movie. They never really caught my attention but this trailer looks pretty bad asss. I think I might finally watch an HP movie.
By the way who is the cool dude facing the train. He looks much more impressive then the Baldie

Awww too bad. I always thought that HP could use some cool villains. Voldermort never really did it for me. Now Snape or Hermoniney they would have been a great type" do evil things thinking you are doing good " villains
And I am still baffled on why they left such a bland and boring chaarcter like Ron(and his annoying little sister) instead of killing them off and giving more time to the awesomeness of Luna!

I don't remember anyone stopping the Train at all. Of course for the most part anything Hogwarts related really was left unknown until about the end of the book.
Oh well it looks good. I have yet to actually see Half Blood Prince... but oh well.

I saw the trailer yesterday. I can't wait for the movie to come out. I'll definitely be going to the midnight premiere.
And I can't wait for August. I'm going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and I feel like such a loser, but I'm sooooooo excited!

Re: Harry Potter New Trailer
There is something that bugs me about the trailer.
- Spoiler:
- When Harry goes to Voldemort he is expecting to die. He is trying to end the assault on Hogwarts by offering himself up. But in the movie, as Voldemort is about to kill him... then why is he trying to dodge it?
Then again it has been forever since I read Deathly Hollows and perhaps I am forgetting something? lol
if I am accurate, I sorta wish Harry would have just closed his eyes and accept it
Re: Harry Potter New Trailer
I've watched the trailer a few times, and I don't think it's that he is dodging the spell, I think the spell has hit him and forced him back or to the side or whatever.Unit7 wrote:There is something that bugs me about the trailer.

That might make sense. Its sorta funny how inconsistant that spell actually is. When its first seen used the victim simply crumples to the ground. Hell even James and Lilly's death didn't suggest anything less then them simply well dying. Then I believe when Dumbledore took the plunged, it sent him soaring backwards a bit. Now in this movie it might force him back. Though to be honest I think it would be far more chilling to simply watch him fall to the ground lifeless.

Hmm That is true. I never realized that about the spell.
I'm assuming that the same sort of thing that happened to Dumbledore will happen, where it will sort of send him flying back and he falls to the ground, since later on in the trailer you see him laying on the ground in the forest.
It would be much more chilling that way.
