WARNING- this show is very graphic.

I found this show by accident. It's a sort of reality show in the UK where a group of people see where their meat comes from- they see how it's raised, how it's slaughtered, what pieces are used. Then they get to eat it. It's a diverse group of people, there's a woman who was raised on a farm, a vegan, etc.

It looked pretty interesting at first; I didn't think they would actually show the animals getting slaughtered on tv, I thought they would just describe how it's done and cut to the dead lamb (that's the episode I watched).....WRONGO. Definitely not a show for animal lovers. My jaw pretty much dropped, I was literally getting nauseous. I couldn't stand to watch the pig episode that came on next; I don't even eat pig because I've always wanted one for a pet. If I didn't like my tasty cheese burgers and chicken so much, I'd become a vegetarian. No

I'm contemplating... Do I want to watch this?

I love gore, but I'm not so sure about animal violence. Do they like, scream or anything to indicate the severity of the pain?

Well the one I watched, no. They stunned them first before hanging them up, slitting their throats, and taking off their heads. It was really quick. I don't know about the other animals.

The whole show just made me really uncomfortable.

Here's the promo (don't worry,it doesn't show anything horrible).

Meh easier to just watch Bear Grylls. And more educational Smile Here (it shows some rather disturbing things if you are against eating animals)

Ughh my boyfriend already made me watch all of those. I can't even watch half the time, I was done after he took a big bite out of a giant, squirming grub in one episode. At least kill it and fry it up first dude.
