Yeah, pretty much. I mean, I really don't care about her trashy ass or what she chooses to do with it. She's an adult, if she want's to rub her ass up against a man's dick, and dance like a skank wearing almost nothing on national television, more power to her. I would like to see Billy Ray's reaction though, he must be so proud.

My eyes are bleeding.

I get dancing sexy and I love it but I don't get is why do this in the most unsexy way possible? I mean seriously how do you screw this up? Dancing sexy is really not that hard. Check out Eliza here. She barely moves and she a hundred times sexier


But this Cyrus girl? She has a  nice body, she is in a bikini and yet instead of looking sexy she looked like she had  a seizure. So weird

I only have one word to say about it...... EMBARRASSING!

I enjoyed it! Something crazy has to go on at the VMA's or what is the point? She is obviously just desperately trying to get attention and be relevant again, but I much prefer this drugged out Miley over the previous Mileys. I agree with Rex though in that she sucks really bad at dancing sexy. That performance was sexual but in no way sexy. haha

Yeah she should really try harder. I mean if you are going to do something sexual you might as well actually do it in a truly sexy way. And this seems to be the trend now. That Gaga singer, Rihanna half of the time...honestly what happened to actual sexiness. I mean just look at how much better it was in the 90's

Ok I understand wanting to dance sexy. In fact if Miley Cyrus had actually done that, I wouldn't be embarrassed for her. What she did wasn't sexy... at all. Personally it just looked like she was trying to hard to be sexy and edgy or whatever it is she was trying to be.

There is a big difference between sexy and trashy... and I think trashy would be offended by this performance.

Yeah...and the weird thing is that even though her face is nothing special she seems to have a nice body. It shouldn't be that hard to bring on the sexy. Don't singers like her have stylists or something?

Yeah that's the scary part is that they DO have stylists.

Of course one theory as to how this came to be was that it was all intentionally bad. Like it or not people are talking about it. Seems to me some celebrities are just going to the shock factor. Oh what outrageous thing are you going to do tonight?! is actually more or less a question some reporter asked before the VMAs.

I mean this was rehearsed well in advanced. Everyone from the MTV peoples to the backup dancers to everyone could have pointed out just how horrible she was.

Then again perhaps the standards have been... well gone down for this kind of stuff and somehow this IS considered sexy and whatever.

So yeah my money is that this was all very much intentional. She gets to further shed that good girl image of hers and... well trade it in for whatever it is she wants.

Personally I actually don't see anything wrong with the 'good girl' image that many former teen and children stars seem to want to get rid of as soon as possible.

Oh well its her life and she can do whatever she wants.
