Board Game: Wishes.

Seeing the astounding success of the question game thread. I thought I'd start this one

The rules of the game are

1. You have to say something you wish for.

I.E I wish I had a million dollars

2. Then the next person has to grant you that wish but thwart it in some way

Example: Granted, but that Million dollars is in pennies at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean

I'll start

I wish that I had a house boat.

Granted, but the house boat is covered in frozen ice in antarctica.

I wish a huge library room, in my house, with all my favorite books, and books about all the subjects that interest me.

I wish I had a lovely cottage on the coast of Maine.

Granted, but it has a colony of bats living in the attic.

I wish I had an endless film collection, one that included all the old classics that I love.

Granted, but it crashed and sank and now sits in the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

I wish I had a Mustang Convertible.

Granted, but it was being delivered behind a malfunctioning Dung Truck. Stinky!

I wish I could have my kitchen redone with some beautiful granite countertops.

Granted, but the stove catches fire and the burns kitchen to the ground.

I wish I had a new bathing suit.

Granted, but someone put itching powder in the suit and the box it came from. And this is strong powder that does not wash out with water.

I wish I could take another trip to Iceland, NOT when volcanos are errupting.

Granted, but while you're in Iceland you get separated from the group and start out on an expedition on an ice floe, which when you just start getting enjoyment out of the Police Officers stop and you get arrested and because you're from another country the court process is un-imaginabley terrible.

I wish I had a nice person to spend my evenings with.

I wish my best friends would come out here to visit.

Granted but John McClane kills it with a car.

I wish I had a nickle for everytime someone said Why,

Granted but you get a nickle for every time someone had said Why . Including past and future. The sheer weight of the trillions of nickels that suddenly appear shift the orbit of the planet. The vast majority of humanity is dead within days and a two weeks later the entire planet crashes into Venus obliterating the entire human race and destroying two planets. I hope you are happy now


I want a pet platypus

Granted, but it's Perry the Platipus from Phineas and Pherb and on one of his secret outings, he was brutally murdered.

Granted, but they're so small that they cut off all circulation, and your feet fall off.

I wish the guy I like liked me.

Granted he likes you. But just as you are about to make out he stops and makes a confession. He takes off his shirt to reveal...breasts. Yes the guy you liked turned out to be a girl. She was pretending to be a guy because she was in the witness protection program. Sadly someone else overhears this in the shadows and three days later just when you started working out your situation the Yakuza cuts off your heads in broad daylight


I wish I had a pet robot

I wish I had 20 carat diamond ring.

Granted, but one of your dog swallows it, and little do you know he, ummm... leaves it somewhere else in a pile of you know what when he poos so you have no idea what happened to it.

I wish I could go for a hike in Sequoia National Forest.

You end becoming a multimillionaire and marrying the president of the United States. But all those years of a hectic life took their toll on your mind.
