Spontaneously kneeling is not faith. It's not even religion. It's a perversion of spirituality. Those are pathetic shells of human beings who gave up trying to better themselves, to learn more to think more and just blindly follow whatever some semi charismatic person tells them under the guise of religion. They are no better then some random junkie who is completely dependent on his heroin

But you are right in one thing. Faith is not dead because it cannot die. Faith is not just about believing in a god, holy texts and the other cliches. It's about everything. Faith in our own abilities, faith in our friends, faith in the future. Faith is the hope that drives mankind towards greatness. On holidays we express it more visibly. That's where the atmosphere of the holidays come. Our wishes and hopes are one step closer to the surface and we reveal more of our inner nature
