it got really dark
then it was bright again
and not five minutes later, its getting dark again.

I love thunderstorms, sometimes.
But it isn't thundering here, it's cloudy though. But my mom said it is gonna thunder tonight.

I hate tornado warnings... luckily where I live we rarely ever get any... atleast none that enter town.

But I do love thunderstorms.

I love the feeling in the atmosphere before and after a good thunderstorm.

like the last time we has anything close was 4 years ago, there was a funnel cloud over my neighborhood but nothing ever happened.
there was an actual tornado last year in a neighborhood a few exits down off I95 but it didnt do very much.

plu,s they havnt actually seen any clouds, its just a warning right now

I always wondered can't people build tornado proof houses. I always see footage of how a torando is sucking up those wooden,plywood well I am not sure what the stereotypical american house is made off and I always wonder. Wouldn't a strong concrete house fare much better? Why not build them like this?

We had a pretty beasty thunderstorm on Friday night though, a ton of rain decided to leak in under the air conditioner, so I spent the night sopping up water before it dripped down into the tv, heating vent, and other electrical goodies. Not fun.

I don't have one here, thank goodness. We had a tornado watch for the whole day on Wednesday. It's been storming most of last week. It's supposed to storm like all week again.
