How was your summer?

It's finally fall time. How did you enjoy your summer? Mine was pretty decent. Travelled a bit, reconnected with some old friends, tried a lot of ice cream....

I spent my summer chasing The Breeze. I finally caught her like 3 weeks ago. Kinda. LOL. Of course doing that had it's own consequences, friends were lost... I am now banned from another forum and it was a mess, all because I did the right thing. I'd explain the mess in detail, but it's not really something I should be talking about publicly on the internet. XD

Also, I met Amber Benson. Unfortunately, that was also the day I accidentally left my phone at my aunt's so pics didn't happen.

The Breeze as in Breezy. She's a new friend of mine and the connection I mentioned in the other thread. Also extremely cute. I am kinda in love.

Yes! It was very brief, at a book signing event in Santa Monica a few weeks ago! She was a special guest and OMG, she is just so awesome in person. I got her to sing a little bit of Under Your Spell. That was one of my many highlights of my entire trip. LOL!

I am so sad that it's all coming to an end. It's officially only like two days till I get home. At least it's been an adventure and lots of memories have been made.

My summer wasn't bad. Went to a lot of car shows/car related stuff. Getting ready for a Halloween cruise in; I'm dressing up myself and my car. Doing a creepy carnival theme. Working on brushing up on my photography skills. Applied for my first choice college. Hopefully I'll be back in school by next fall. Other than than, I've just been working.

YES! It was like a dream.

It's ironic you mention winter. I have a big settlement check finally coming in, hopefully within the next week. I am currently in planning mode for my next trip to happen between semesters! I am stuck between three possible destinations.
1. Orlando, FL because Google Flights told me to on the I'm Feeling Lucky feature. Of all places. And that's where Breezy lives so surely it's a sign. Also Harry Potter.
2. Portland, OR. Mostly because Voodoo Donuts. Also waterfalls. And Oregon.
3. Vancouver, BC, Canada... just because I really want an excuse to get my passport this year. LOL.

Oh that sounds nice. Sadly we don't celebrate Halloween much in my country

It will be a bigger check than I'm used to, but not exactly huge. I think only like $2800 after all the lawyer fees and medical costs get cut out. That is primarily why I'm sticking to places within America, because I know I can get round trip airfare for considerably less... around $150, if I look in the right places at the right time.

$2800 is quite good! So far the most I have ever won was $750 but that was with a lottery ticket not a lawsuit.

Have you considered taking a cruise? They don't cost much and you will get to visit several locations plus all the free food and entertainment make it really worth the price. I rather love them. Although I have been only on european ones and I heard that you have to be a bit more careful with US ones

I haven't really considered going on a cruise as much as I've considered working on a cruise ship. That's actually on my bucket list.

Oh it really is. I have been to several now and I enjoyed them immensely And I can see you working on a cruise. They actually employ photographers(there can be as many as half a dozen or more base don the size of the ship) so you can both work as what you wish gaining some nice experience and travel to new places where you can take pictures for yourself and write
