Do you think there's a thyroid issue? Anything to that nature that could be causing the miscarriages? On the Bump, I see ladies that have their misscarriages posted in their signature. Some have dozens. It's so heartbreaking.

Re: ♥The Mom Thread♥
I know. If I get pregnant again it will be my 7th pregnancy. Which sounds like a lot for my age but only one survived.
During my last miscarriage, I learned my apartments I was living in had high levels of Carbon Monoxide and it was making me really sick all the time. I think that may have contributed to some of the miscarriages since all but 2 happened at those apartments.
one time I went into labor because of an accident, the second time was also premature at 30 weeks and that started by an incident with my sort-of boyfriend at the time. So I don't think it's anything that my body is doing, just really, really bad luck.

Goodness. I am so sorry you have to deal with that. I couldn't imagine. I know with the ladies on the bump, I'm heart broken for them.
Have you ever heard of the bump?

Ummm, well I heard of the bump yesterday haha... Not sure what it is. . .
Yeah this is why I only like to talk to people are glad they have their babies. I am so sick of people complaining about their pregnancies to me, and how annoying their kids are. And it's like, I would be GLAD to be having a kid tugging on me all the time. It's made me appreciate children, and not underestimate them. And some people forget how much of a miracle it is to have a healthy child, let alone just getting pregnant!

The bump is a pregnancy forum (www.thebump.com) It has seperate forums for 1 - 3 trimester. They also have boards for military moms, miscarriage sufferers, parenting. It's a great forum. Everyone that I have seen (aside from teenage trolls who sometimes come on to stir us up) want and appreciate their children. If you join, I'm MrsJazzAirForceWife.

I think you would really enjoy it. If you do, let me know you SN or if you find me first there, friend me.
I really enjoyed it when I was pregnant with Brylee. I had a group of women that I could relate to. Who understood. I'm on the 0-3 boards now, that and BOTB (babies on the brain) and the military families.

I will say there are other sites with helpful information, but the bump seems to be the one with supportive people on it. It does have it snarkiness, as does any forum, but if you look over that drama, you're good to go.

Courtnut, who is the cute kid in your avatar?
Re: ♥The Mom Thread♥
That is my nephew. I watched him for the first 2 years of his life 18+ hours a day. One of the main reasons I want to have a kid very badly I pretty much helped raise him, but at the end of the day I can't turn to someone and say "he is like this because of me" Because he is not mine. . . One I have my own, I can actually take some credit for how my kid turns out. Even though when my nephew was a 1 1/2 could count to 14 because of me.
That sounds shitty. But it's hard to want a kid this bad and have to take care of other peoples every day, especially since now I have a niece who is 8 months old. I want a baby soo bad

I really hope it happens for you soon. Just seems so unfair for ones who really want kids.

Oh my. I don't know how military wives handle having their husbands gone. My husband is about to leave tomorrow morning for 5 days and I feel like that's too long. The longest we have been apart since we have been together

Adam has been deployed for 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 days...It just keeps going up. I think you learn how to be as strong as you possibly can and learn to depend on yourself. I've always been told military wives are a special breed. I think we just do what we have to do. Being married to a military man doesn't mean we're crazy or don't want to be with the person all the time. We just learn to live the life because we're so in love with that person.

It's so amazing, I love it. I wouldn't trade it for anything. She definitely makes us wish we'd had kids sooner. We've been talking about planning our next. We'd love to have a houseful, we hope and pray to anyways.

Re: ♥The Mom Thread♥
We'd planned on having 4 (though more would be perfect ), but since we had such huge age gaps between us and our siblings we decided to make them closer in age.
You will be. Never give up. I've seen people try for years on top of years and finally have their first.

Yep! My second cousin John and his wife Laura tried for a whooping 13 years before Gabby came along...

Sadly at times, adoption can take them longer than it did trying to get pregnant

Re: ♥The Mom Thread♥
Umm by the way, if I had my way I would adopt a kid right now. Have you heard it costs around 46,000 dollars to adopt a child?? I simply cannot afford that. Doesn't mean I can't afford a baby, how many people can afford that.
I'm a firm believer in adoption.
At the end of this year I'm actually planning on becoming a foster parent. And if I decide to adopt one of the kids I am caring for and the rights have been terminated, it will only cost around 800 dollars. Which I can afford.
So don't go assuming things. I'm not one of those people that will go as far as IVF to conceive my own. I wouldn't go past AI.. if even that.
I honestly think it's kind of selfish to go that far, rather then adopt.
